So once upon a time there was this castle town named Fortuna. It was a great tourism spot for people who were from Assassin's Creed, since they could live their piously little lives praying and clasping their hands together with their little white hoods over their heads as if they were afraid of the sky falling down on them. The only problem? The place was infested by Demons. And I'm not talking about red-horned, arrow-end-tailed demons, either, nor anything of that Supernatural stuff. These things kill, maim, jump as high as a five-store building and move as quick as a blink. Amazing. Facing a demon meant you were in a pinch, but no need to worry. The Order of the Sword is there with their faithful Knights to rescue you and organize the place's life, faith-inducing Sunday services included. Your very own knights in shining armor. Paradise, right? ...what a load of bullshit. But then came an asshole in red that shot the sherif but didn't shoot the deputy. The deputy sent Nero to chase after him and cue the Benny Hill theme, except that the loyal Order of the Sword turned out to be a nest of nutjobs. The Sherif was yawn-inducing-surprisingly alive and a demon, as well, and his minions even included a Mad Scientists and voilá, things turned ugly. The Jackass in Red was a sneaky bastard, and The Order opted to capture and use Nero instead for their Big Plan To Take Over the World (TM). Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! But neither Nero nor Dante were pondering what the Big Old Granpa was pondering so they said "yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahno". Shenanigans ensued and with a little help from his buddy, Nero saved the day, got a cool sword from an asshole, and was left in a city that was in a mess and needed rebuilding. ...but then again, he got the girl so things weren't that bad. Until the moment he opened his eyes after finally getting that kiss, he ended up in a completely different place. And he wasn't happy about it. |
